A Beautiful antique souvenir from Lourdes. This is a three-dimensional paper, twig, and dried-flower piece of artwork, set under a domed glass. Framed in a brass frame that has a lot of patina due to age, and with the original hanging ring. Nuns produced these to support their charity work, and now they are collected for their historical and healing powers. Measuring 4" long, with the hanging ring included, and 3.9" wide, it is a beautiful piece of history.
This scene presents the famed conversations held between the young teenage peasant girl and the Virgin over many years. In the final conversation, the Virgin says to Bernadette, "Je suis l'immaculée." I am the Immaculate one.
