Antique French Lourdes rosary case. A beautiful religious confection with the Virgin Mary and St Bernadette. Saint Bernadette is the patron saint of bodily illness, poverty, shepherds and sheperdesses, and Lourdes, France. She is also considered a patron saint for those who are ridiculed for their piety. This is a case we found in Normandy, France. It is a two-piece hinged tin case meant to hold a rosary. This was most likely a souvenir purchased on a visit as a memento. The case is in fantastic condition, and the hinge works as it should. The lid closed, and there are no issues. This case measures approximately " x ".
