These are antique French perfume labels from the historic fragrance house Parfumerie J. Giraud Fils, which operated primarily out of Grasse and Paris during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The text reads "Parfumerie J. Giraud Fils" along with "Grasse Paris", referencing the historic capital of perfumery (Grasse) and the fashion capital where major perfumers kept retail shops (Paris). Each label denotes a specific botanical scent or blend, including but not limited to: Patchouli (Patchouli), Frangipani (Frangipani), Amaryllis, Parma-Violet (Parma Violet), Stephanotis, Reseda (Mignonette), Blanche (White). These items are highly sought after as collectible ephemera for junk journaling, collage art, scrapbooking, and decorating aging glass bottles. The bottles in the photos are examples we have made, similar to those we sell in our Dallas showroom, and are made from antique French and Italian glass, but any small bottle will do. Curated bundles containing 5 to 10 distinct, non-repeating floral names are also highly popular for framing or scrapbooking. We have a lot of labels, and we have no idea how many styles there are.
Our labels are packaged in sets of 10 assorted, and they will all be different. Meaning there will be no repeats in the package. Please note, these are NOT reproductions. They are originals from France. They are NEW/OLD stock. These labels are no longer in circulation. When they are gone, they are gone. This is a vintage item, so there will be wear commensurate with age.
Each set ships in a cello sleeve.
