Beautiful antique 1800s French floral painting. The painting is an original piece. It is an oil-on-canvas painting stretched over a wooden frame. The canvas is held in place with small tacks which go all the way around. The canvas is firmly in place all the way around. The back of the canvas and sides, where it is tacked in place, have yellowed and browned due to age, but the overall color of the floral design is perfect. This piece might have been cleaned. The overall dimensions are 18.5" x 13" x 1", making it a large piece. The 1" depth accounts for the frame. This is a signed piece, although I'm unable to make out the name.
