This is a classic French religious item to give to a loved one to celebrate a newborn's birth. It can be placed beside a crib or on a bedside table. Made with bakelite and a central medalion. The center features SANCTA TERESIA. Saint Teresa of Avila. This is a rare star-shaped medallion with a ring on top for hanging. The star is approximately 3.5" from point to point, not including the ring hanger. This piece is in fantastic condition.
