This is a heavy iron piece. It has seen a lot of weather, and the patina is beautiful. Originally, this would have been an accent at a door entering a home. It was used as a shoe scraper to remove any excess debris from the bottom of one's soles. It measures 11\" x 8\" x 90\". I can only imagine, given its age, how much it was used.
