Beautiful antique French carved bovine bone manger scene. Dating to the 1800s, this is an extraordinary carved bone piece depicting angels above the baby Jesus's manger. The carving is in fantastic condition and has been set inside a wooden frame. I can see no cracks or chips anywhere on this original antique piece. The carving is approximately 1.75" in diameter, and the frame is 3.75" x 3.75". The back has a brass hanger with a wire attached. This is not a reproduction. This is an original work of art from France.
