Antique French handmade button cards from a private collection. These are beautiful made in France antique mother of pearl button cards. These are all luminous, quite old and in pristine condition. It was my understandinig when purchasing a large lot of sewing items that this woman made these herself using the antique buttons she found. She was a stitcher by trade and did not want any of her items damaged or chipped so she sorted her findings and made sure they were maintined in pristine condition. I also purchased other notions, trims and textiles in this collection which are listed elsewhere.
