Antique framed cherub measuring 5.8" x 4.6". The cherub is on an oval disc attached to a piece of metal paper. I wanted to see the back of the piece inside but I did not undo the wire to open it up. I always try to keep items in their original form as they came to me so there is a little mystery for the buyer to figure out and maybe solve. This is a darling piece and as you can see the frame is a little strange. While their are two metal loops on the top of the frame for decorative purposes the back of the frame has a velvet slide that clearly did not go with this frame. Another "make-do" item froma time long ago when people knew how to make things work the best they could.
