Antique French sampler from the late 1800s. There is a row of letters and numbers along the top with larger letters in the center. The name of the stitcher at the bottom is Christine Guichard. This sampler is all done in a Turkish red thread. This is a lovely, undated red cross stitch sampler measuring 11" x 10". This sampler is in very good condition with only some slight aging of the background, but nothing is distracting. It would look beautiful framed.
