Stunning 1800s crosshatch or waffle seal found in Provence, France. It is made of turned bovine bone and is over 150 years old. It features turned bone leading down to the brass stamp, which can be unscrewed to allow for stamp replacement. It stands at 1.5" tall, and the matrix is .40" in diameter. It is a lovely, authentic piece.
