A beautiful careworn antique French red silk marriage display cushion from a globe de mariee, probably from the mid to late 1800s.
This wonderful traditional French marriage souvenir would have been part of the interior of a globe de mariée, made from red silk, which is beautifully time-worn and care-worn. Red silk cushion with small gold flower studs to create a padded effect. It is in used antique condition, with balding to the red silk throughout. This beautiful display piece would also make a fantastic wedding gift. It measures approximately 7.3" x 6 x 3".
