Antique 19th century linen and hemp sacks from France. Absolutely fabulous patches and darns on these. These are all printed on the front but as they were reversible they were also printed on opposite side but on the inside making two panels per sack. Each one measures approximately 48" long X 28" wide. But remember that is X 2 if you take the sack apart. Each sack has black stripes and may or may not have assorted darns and patches. Each on has the same print on it. I can think of so many uses for these. They would make an ideal bolster or cushion cover for a bench or sofa. I slide them over the back of my kitchen and dining room chairs and they look wonderful. Please remember that these are all old so they have the best darns and patches ever. These are not reproductions and they were purchased in Provence France.
