Excellent Pastoral intaglio seal. This beautifully crafted seal features a lovely central shield with two birds in flight. The shield is draped with floral garlands within a beaded border. The seal is polished mahogany with an organ stopper form tapering into an oval matrix of white metal. This antique piece exudes a timeless elegance that is perfect for those who appreciate antique seal stamps. It is 5.5" tall, and the seal matrix is .80" x .70". The matrix is in superb condition, and I can see no defects—just a beautiful piece of history.
