Antique French 1840's notebook. This is a lovely piece of history. I do not know what color the original cover is as it has been recovered in green silk. The inside pages have small script writing in pencil on them as well as a few miscellaneous papers. It measures 3.25" x 6". This notebook came to me in a very large lot of French notebooks. I don't know what the original bindings look like. The bindings are loose but intact and held with thread and in place with a single long pin. A darling piece indeed. These are perfect for crafting all sorts of things. Unlimited possibilities. Keep it as it is or take it apart.
