A very pretty antique french wedding hairpiece, small tiara or crown. This is a handmade piece with silk thread covered wires, handmade wax apple blossom buds in pale pink and white and some very fine beadwork. This is a darling handcrafted decorative piece from the 1800's. A timeless treasure and a fabulous display item that can probably still be used. The crown is closed with a small piece of netting to hold it in place as seen in the pictures but this can be removed to expand it. As it sits closed it measures approximately 4.75" in diameter. Truly a fabulous piece of history.
This is an antique that is approximately 150 years old. There is wear commensurate with age.
