Wonderful antique 1890s Grimaud Grand Etteilla Tarot Cards. This is the deck of 78 tarot cards from the 1800s, along with a book explaining each card. Having the book with the cards is fantastic in itself. After the occultist Etteilla's designs, the Grand Etteilla by Grimaud is considered a Type I style. Etteilla was the pseudonym of Jean-Baptiste Alliette. His designs are among the first tarot decks created specifically for cartomancy. This deck has writing on SOME of the cards, but the images are still fabulous.
