Beautiful antique 1800s French handmade relic. This is a stitched piece made with beads, sequins, fabric, and a scapular. The central image is Mary with the Sacred Heart. It is surrounded by beadwork and sequins, framing it in with additional beadwork and sequins adorning the centerpiece. The back has a hand-stitched cloth piece covering the center. This is a very decorative piece that took a significant amount of time to create. Around the outer edge of this relic, a pinking shears cut has been made. The piece measures 2.5" wide x 3.5" high. This is a stunning antique piece. I only wish I knew the backstory behind its creation.
