Antique 1800s French Bible bookmarker. It consists of three ivory-colored pieces joined at the top by a small glass bead. These are silk and are all hand-painted. The central ribbon features a hand-painted Sacred Heart above a floral basket, while the flanking ribbons have matching floral garlands. Each ribbon is weighted at the bottom with a tiny religious medal. These ribbons are often identified as keepsakes from religious milestones. The ribbons are approximately 6" long.
