Rare and original antique French religious frame with a hand-painted miniature of The Virgin painted on a porcelain plate dated 1876. Set in a gilded metal frame with a cross crucifix on top. I did not open the back of this piece to see if there was anything behind the porcelain. There is a loop-wired hanger added to the hinge for hanging. At one time there was a stand for this piece but it is gone. This beautiful antique piece measures 3.2" tall and is 2" wide, and the porcelain is in perfect condition.
