Beautiful 1800s antique French ormolu mount. Ormolu is a gold-colored alloy composed of copper, zinc, and tin, used to decorate furniture and create ornaments. This is a beautifully cast piece full of detail. It is a Roman soldier in full regalia. Look at his beard. It is amazing and measures about 2.2" x 2.2".
