Beautiful 1800s French religious icon of the Christ child. I can't be sure of the date but I would say very early 1800s however I always err on the side of caution when it comes to dating things. Darling framed miniture in an iron frame that I have not cleaned as I just love the patina. This piece measures 3" x 2" and is in FABULOUS condition given its age. The easel stand on the back is intact and it sits perfectly. The colors are stunning and really vibrant given its age.
