Beautiful 1800s antique French communion cake topper figurine. This is an original piece from France that is in fantastic condition. The statue still holds a candle, and the veil is intact and in place. It features the figure of a little girl receiving her First Holy Communion. On either side of the girl are two pieces with flowers and plumes at the top. The girl sits on a scallop base. The girl figurine has been cast from bisque porcelain and hand-painted. It measures 5" tall and approximately 2.5" wide at the base. The two pieces on either side of the girl are 4" wide. This is a charming souvenir of the important day of the First Communion.
