Darling antique miniature framed Madonna. This 1800s French piece measures approximately 3" tall and 2.75" in width. The frame is made of brass and features the original brass loop hanger and stand on the back. The original glass is intact. The back is made of brass and is held in place by the frame claws. This is a lovely piece, but I am not sure if it is a print, as I did not open the back to verify this. At one time, someone opened it, and two of the claws are missing. This might be a holy card, but again, I am not sure. I did not want to damage the two remaining claws on the frame. This is a fabulous piece of history. It would be great to hang or sit.
