A rare twin set of antique Dondorf "Patience No. 212" playing cards featuring a beautiful vintage rose design. Produced by the renowned German luxury cardmaker B. Dondorf (Frankfort), these petite decks were specifically manufactured for playing patience or solitaire games. These typically date from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
This is a beautiful set of playing cards in fantastic condition with the boxes. A single Dondorf Deck with box is lovely, but a complete twin set is amazing. The outer boxes shown here show typical shelf wear, rubbing, and structural weakening around the edges.
