Superb unused roll of 19th-century French homespun handloomed linen and hemp chanvre.
It measures one loom width of 28 inches and 6 yards long. It is sold by the yard. This is an unbleached buttermilk color with tiny flecks of hemp visible in the weave. It is a tactile coarse weave perfect for projects. The outer layer is a little foxed from storage, but the rest is superb.
