This is an antique French Carlo Simondetti agenda or ledger from 1901. It features a tall, narrow design with black cloth covers and gold-colored embossed lettering on the front. The journal was originally used for detailed daily, monthly, and annual records by professionals such as notaries or business owners. These books, with their distinct tall, narrow rectangular shape and hard pressed-board cover, were widely used across France by notaries (notaires), merchants, and legal professionals at the turn of the century. This book measures 5.5" x 13.5" and is complete. This is an original and not a reproduction. The binding is in wonderful condition, and it includes the original owner's notes on the pages, as well as some miscellaneous ephemera.
