An early 18th-century silver triple spinning pocket fob seal, the handle comprising a central spring-loaded stem with supporting twin frame surmounted by a suspension loop, the triple spinning matrices pinned to the frame at each end.  The triple matrices engraved with different faces, comprising

1. Armoured soldier holding lance in one hand, with raised weapon in the other above two stylised initials, possibly FR.

2. Central armorial shield with helm, crest, and mantling above; the crest showing a male figure with a raised anchor in one hand, within a partially beaded border

3.  Central armorial shield surmounted by a coronet, supported by a mythical figure within a partially beaded border.

An unusual set of engraved matrices, of Continental origins, was displayed in a rather crude manner, despite being charming.  The spring-loaded stem appears to be reluctant to free itself, likely due to disuse, and needs attention to function properly again.
