Extremely fine mid 1800's gilt metal intaglio seal fob pendant. Beautifully crafted this seal features a lovely glass main stone in an amber hue. This antique Victorian glass seal is a true gem for collectors of vintage and antique jewelry. The seal matrix is about .5" in diameter, .5" long and the entire piece is 1.1" tall. The matrix is in wonderful condition and I can see absolutely no defects. The gilding is worn in places but this is typical given it was probably used a lot and it's age of almost 175 plus years old. It just needs a good cleaning. This is perfect to use as a seal and wear as a piece of jewelry. Just a beautiful piece of history.
