Beautiful 19th century French religious icon. Darling gold painted metal frame with grapes and leaves. I have not cleaned this piece as I just love the patina. This piece measures 6.5" x 4.5" x .35" and is FABULOUS condition with original glass that needs a wee bit of cleaning but given it's age I am not surprised. The back is an old chip board held in place with four original metal prongs. The piece would have hung with the hole at the top but it has separated. I added a piece of antique French metal ribbon from Lourdes to make a hanger. It matches perfectly. Overall just a darling piece of history.
