Early 1800s, a morceau of lightweight printed cotton toile. Easy on the eye, with vignettes of playful tumbling putti angels, floral swags, scalloped garlands, and clouds. Soft blue and ochres. Still very strong. The two edges have holes where it was attached in its previous life. This lovely textile is 6.25 feet long and 2.9 feet wide. A genuine early old toile.
