Beautiful 1800s French religious icon. This is a wonderful piece with a lot of detail. A magnificent antique French religious sculpture in bas-relief. This depicts Saint Joseph and the infant Jesus. The back is in excellent condition, and you can see how the meerschaum has aged over time. Overall, the icon is in excellent condition, even without the glass and framework, given its age of over 150 years. The piece measures 2.25" long, 1.85" wide, and .25" deep.
