A superb pair of nineteenth-century French candle snuffer scissors. Candles were safely snuffed out, the hot tips of the wicks neatly extinguished, and the trimmings caught in the container attached to the back blade. The condition and wear are excellent given the age of these scissors. They measure 6" long.
